The village of Kartitsch is situated in the tourist area of Hochpusteral - Eastern Tyrol. In the village you will find a post office, bank with ATM, shops, several cafes and a sport centre with tennis courts. There is also tourist information available. The distance to the Italian border is approximately 10 km and Venice is approximately 3 hours drive. Famous cities such as Innsbruck and Salzburg are reachable in around 2 hours. In our surroundings we have the biggest National Park of Central Europe Hohe Tauern. We have number of sport activities available in the region such as: skiing areas, cross country tracks and bicycle, hiking and Nordic walking tracks. There is also fishing areas, a 27-hole golf course within an hour drive, rafting; canoeing and much more.
